Managing Innovation, that’s the title for this course. But let’s start with a series of questions -
- Can Innovation be managed?
- Should innovation be managed?
Or should the questions be –
- How can management create an environment where innovation flourishes?
- What defines companies like Apple, Alphabet, 3M and Tesla, a few of the most innovative companies in the world?
- How can innovation be sustained even in the face of corporate constraints?
- What do we do to create a culture of continuous innovation?
- How do processes and metrics change to support the new innovation culture?
Over the course of the next 8 weeks we will look at these questions and more as we examine innovative companies, innovative processes, innovative leaders and innovative products.
